On the Eve of a Great Journey

Hello All,

Welcome to my blog! It is 7:40 pm EST on May 9th, 2010. Tomorrow, Bryan, Chris and I will leave on our cross-country trip that will last either two weeks or until we run out of money - whichever comes first. So, I'll answer the most obvious question:

Where are we going?

Oook. Some pre-trip thoughts . . .

What are we nervous about?
Chris: "Tire blow-outs in Vegas."
Wes: "Snakes and a diet Coke shortage (see below)."
Bryan: "Mike (aka Chris) and getting over the Rockies."

What are we excited about?
Chris: "Driving up the 101 on the coast of California."
Wes: "The road."
Bryan: "Vegas, baby!"

Alright, I think that's all for now. I'm going to attempt to blog every night, chronicling the day's events and serving to let all of you know that we haven't fallen off the side of the Earth. Post comments and/or questions if you have them and I'll get back to you.
